The right person for the job is the right person

The problem for Harriet Harman…

…to assume that [this] balance* can best be achieved by a tick box quota…
*Plus, IMHO, most else.

However, in today’s world, and especially its governance, this seems pretty much to be the way things are ‘run’.

Which might explain our current, and future, predicaments.

However, in just a few areas, those of lifetime job security, unwarranted pay awards, index-linked salaries, etc, in just a few sectors, this policy does at least still seem more than rewarding.

Oddly.

The Gord taketh, and then taketh soem more..

When is a man a woman?

Like ageism legislation, I am sure that the desired result will be arrived at by all interested parties (bar the poor sap who wastes their time engaging with these 'transparent' systems, little realising they are there to promote the interests of a whole raft of paid, perked, pensioned and protected numpties involved in the process with zero interest in the result) in the time-honoured manner. It'll be rigged behind closed doors.

Speaking of which, and the 'mulitiple-standards in work employment legislation' for which this current outfit is known and loved, isn't the lady above the husky-voiced paragon who has got through more staff on the public payroll than even some AK-47 toting US postal workers have managed since Pony Express?

I'd like to see some small businesses try to get away with that.
