Those whom the gods of liberal media wish to destroy...

...they first deem 'odd'

Public service broadcaster in trouble

I'm intrigued as to what the definition of 'oddball' might be here....

a) Person who doesn't always agree with a certain 'right-thinking' world view and, coincidentally, one that's often espoused, and even propa...gated by the BBC.

b) Person not working for an employer whose financial health in no small measure depends on the BBC.

c) Person who has got a few other things they could be doing with £139.50 than having to give it, even if they don't want or use any of its 'services', to the BBC.

d) All of the above.

For some, that may not seem so odd.

I believe in freedom of speech. But I also don't like bullies on blogs, even verbal ones, as they can drive away those with something valid to say... or offer.

Subjective is fine, but well argued and substantiated is even better. Calm and polite tops. Anything that crosses my personal line will not go up. There may be reasons given, but not guaranteed.

I'm not too keen on 'Anon' as a handle (and the content usually explains why), so if that's what you opt for it may not make it. Sorry.
