Don't Panic!

America has embraced the values of progress

Posted in the tradional Labour comfort zone that is the Gaurdian.

If it's a vision thing, it's best to recognise the past and have something about the future worth saying.

I wonder, having in theory penned and selected the medium to place this in, Mr. Brown will ever (be allowed by his minders to) read the reaction to his latest foray into statespersonship.

I guess I'll know when I tune into the BBC... 'We have learned that the Prime Minster will say the people want him to get on with the job...'

Telegraph - Brown bounce: voters not playing their allotted role

we are most definitely not buying NuLab spin.

Well, we certainly are paying for it, including £139.50 pa from the national propaganda machine. I am anticipating a day or two of skateboarding turtles being main news as part of the 'good poll to bury for days' in-house policy.

Or free, if you pop over to Guardian CiF. Hazel is working in it, but should any of Mr. Brown and his boosters read the replies they might give pause to wonder how 'bounces' are defined.

I believe in freedom of speech. But I also don't like bullies on blogs, even verbal ones, as they can drive away those with something valid to say... or offer.

Subjective is fine, but well argued and substantiated is even better. Calm and polite tops. Anything that crosses my personal line will not go up. There may be reasons given, but not guaranteed.

I'm not too keen on 'Anon' as a handle (and the content usually explains why), so if that's what you opt for it may not make it. Sorry.
